 Sheer Terror (New York, NY)

Smärt Boyz (San Antonio, TX)

Can’t suppress the killer rock n roll style of Smärt Boyz. Two overdriven lead guitars uniting the hard-as-nails rythym section attitude of the tough glam/Oi backbeat, the San Antonio, Texas natives formed in early ’16 and immediately began infiltrating ‘stages’ of varying music sets. Strong vocals broadcasted with huge choruses and gang sing-a-longs top off the 50’s–styled rock n roll delivery, a la Heartbreakers, Slade… Lyrical content ranging from delinquent juvenile yearnings to depression and joy, plus mobs of hooks, fun times, and Killer Rock N Roll!!

The Industry (Phoenix, AZ)

Concrete Elite (Austin, TX)

Concrete (Elite) combines driving Oi! with a heavy street punk sound. Manny, lead vocals, has a surprisingly powerful, gritty set of pipes that really give them a unique sound and provide a bright contrast against a growing trend of poppier Oi! bands. Their live show is just as awesome and is not to be missed!

Hooligan 45 (Texas City, TX)

Assault and Battery (Milwaukee, WI)

Assault & Battery is a streetpunk/oi!/hardcore band from Milwaukee, WI. Formed from members of Get Rad, Brutal Dildos, Cry Coyote, and Reckless Reasons.

Thug Boots (Houston, TX)

“Don’t let the promotional photo fool you! The four guys and a girl that form Thug Boots might not look like your average Oi! band. But as proven on their previous release, the “Elite Breed” demo, this Houston, TX outfit knows how to put the boot in and they continue to grow stronger and stronger on their debut EP “The Justice”!

I really like the sound of Thug Boots, because besides not looking like your average Oi! band, they don’t sound so either! Thug Boots has a real raw, hardcore-punk influenced bite to their sound that, as I already stated in my review of the demo, has a strong resemblance to their fellow Texans of CONCRETE….

…if you are into bands like 86 Mentality, Semper Eadem, Negative Approach or Hired Goons you’ll be rockin’ the shit out of “The Justice” EP! After “Elite Breed” I wanted to hear more by these thugs and I am liking what I hear! Banger!”
