Saturday 11 August 2018 – Lean, Bleak experimental music series presents: David Dove, Virginity, and Martinez, Wonzy, Jones

Lean, Bleak is an ongoing experimental music concert series organized by Spencer Dobbs and Joe Wozny conceived as a space for artists to present work across various practices including music improvisation, noise, poetry, dance and composed song.

“Eschewing what is obvious, market-designed, and trendy, the Lean, Bleak concert series presents innovative songwriters, soundmakers and poets in an intimate environment, where nuance and details are accorded pride of place, and amplitude and the other dog and pony shows of music presentation take five.” – Houston Press

This will be an album release show for Martinez / Jones / Wozny, whose debut tape, Go Decay, is coming out Aug 11 (that very night) on Anahuac Editions. Tapes will be available!
